The United Nations Music Fest 1 was the 1st edition of the contest. It took place in the Asmit Arena in Asmit, Spitmal. This was the first time the contest was celebrated, it consistes in a final from November 20 to November 26. The live show was hosted by Jennifer Lawrence & Leonardo DiCaprio. Twenty-four countries debuted in the contest.

The winner was Albertica with the song "Save It", performed by Salt Ashes. The top five countries were Albertica, Bohemia, Reino Saharí. Reino de Corfú and R.N.E.D.U.. While Chocoland and Rooseland were disqualified for not casting their votes.

Hosting Information

Venue

The Chief Executive Officer of the host broadcaster, the Spitmal Radio And Television Broadcaster (SRT) and the Spitmalian Government formally launched the bidding process for interested cities to apply to host the contest on November TBA.

The following criteria were outlined for the selection of the host city:

  • The venue must be covered with a capacity of at least 7,000 but ideally up to 10,000 attendees.
  • An international press centre must be able to accommodate no less than 1,550 journalists.
  • Venues must also be provided for the opening and closing ceremonies of at least 3,000 attendees.
  • The host city must have fairly priced hotel rooms, that are located in close proximity to the venue and the city centre.
  • The host city must be able to guarantee the safety and security of participants, members of delegations and guests.
  • The host city must have modern transport infrastructure: an international airport and readily available transport between the airport, the city and hotels, in addition to convenient traffic in the city and the opportunity to provide additional transport routes.

Format

According to the number of participants. Each participating country award points to their top 10 songs, by using the traditional Eurovision system of 12, 10, and 8-1 points. The countries are however not allowed to vote for their own song.

The 12 songs that received more points of the semifinal will qualify to the Grand Final. The 13th place with more votes will qualify as well. At the end, the Grand Final will have 25 songs.

The allocation draw and the running order was made on TBA by the host broadcaster.

Contest

This edition will debut 24 countries, which qualify directly to the Grand Final.
